Barbara Chamberlain
Co-FounderBarbara is Director, Art Services at a leading insurance company specializing in fine art and collectibles, and Collection Manager for the company's fine art collection. She has nearly 30 years of experience working with private, public, educational, and corporate collections, museums, foundations, galleries, and libraries. Today she provides collections management and care, risk management and loss prevention services to the company's policyholders, plus supports adjusters with large and complex fine art claims.
Barbara earned her bachelor's degree in art history and psychology at Smith College, and a Master of Arts in Museum Studies at Johns Hopkins University where she now teaches the first course in private collectors, collections, and museums. She is a Chartered Private Risk and Insurance Advisor (CPRIA), a board member of the Association of Registrars and Collections Specialists (ARCS), an executive board member of the Friends of the Uffizi Gallery, and a member of ArtTable's Programming Committee. She is also a peer reviewer in collections management and education for accreditation and the Museum Assessment Programs (MAP) for the American Alliance of Museums (AAM).

Co-FounderJeffrey Richlin has spent more than four decades engineering solutions that demand exactness. With a career built on custom fabrication, systems integration, and precision manufacturing, he has spent decades building things that perform without failure.
Ever Crate is the application of that expertise to a different kind of problem: the safe passage of objects that cannot be replaced. The cases he designs are engineered to the exact tolerances of their contents, built for the long term, and made to travel.
